S + P | Toronto, ON Wedding

We adored this old Hollywood, glam, cinematic wedding from last summer at Eglinton Grand. These two were the sweetest couple, and we loved how they incorporated bits and pieces of their theme and themselves throughout their special day.

From their Academy Award themed photo booth at their reception to a special restored car with significant meaning to the groom and his family, there was no shortage of nostalgia and character. They also made their own lit up "LOVE" sign to use in front of the wedding party table at the reception and it was a huge win! We were super impressed.

Wedding party pictures were taken at the beautiful Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens. First look pictures at the Hyatt downtown.

We hope you enjoy this fun, beautiful wedding as much as we did!

For anyone considering a wedding at Airship 37 we have two words for you...DO IT! It made for such a beautiful ceremony and reception space, and had the perfect vibe and atmosphere for this couple. This was also one of the most fun, genuine and laid back wedding parties we've had the pleasure of working with.

Their wedding party photos were done at Underpass Park in Toronto and we absolutely adored the bridal party's unique clothing accessory they decided to use for some of their photos. (Scroll through and you'll see what we mean :) It doesn't get much cooler than that.)

We hope you enjoy browsing through the story of this wedding day as much as we enjoyed documenting it!

A + J | Hamilton, ON Wedding

There's just something about a summer wedding, isn't there? Especially an outdoor one on a beautiful, sunny, August day. The air is warm, the mood is light, and everyone is feeling a little more carefree and joyful than usual. This wedding was no exception.

Small and intimate, this wedding of about 40 people was the perfect size and in the perfect location for the bride and groom. They chose a restaurant in Hamilton as their venue as that was the area that the bride grew up in. They wanted to choose some place that was meaningful to them as well as located by the water, and that's exactly what they found! The food was amazing, the bride and groom were glowing and the decor was perfection.

If you are leaning towards having a smaller wedding with mostly just immediate family and friends, all we have to say is "DO IT"! As you can see, the end result is simply amazing and the stress of the day is significantly cut down making it easier for you to enjoy your guests and focus on the most important aspect of the day; beginning a new chapter with the one person you love most in this world.

L + M | Toronto, ON Wedding

You don't have to go to far to find some amazingly beautiful architecture around the city here in Toronto. Often these buildings and the areas they are in make for the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. The bonus in this wedding is that they had significance behind them for this couple, so it was a no brainer to shoot here.

These two ladies were absolutely glowing and it was such an honour to be able to tell the story of their special day. From their getting ready photos at King Edward Hotel, to their first look pictures at Knox College (seriously, all the feels!), to their ceremony and reception at Twist Gallery...all of it was perfection. Even curating the images for this blog post brought a tear to my eye.

 This is love, folks.

K + T | Irondale, ON Wedding

If you've ever dreamed of having a rustic, outdoor, bohemian style wedding, then you will love this beautiful, July wedding in Ironside, Ontario.

This lovely couple decided to tie to knot at Bark Lake Leadership Centre and it made for the perfect backdrop during both the ceremony and reception. It was hard to believe that it was only a few hours away from hustle and bustle of Toronto and not somewhere on the west coast. The scenery was stunning!

What was so great about this wedding and really tugged on our heart strings, was how they included their beautiful baby girl in as many ways possible, from walking down the aisle with her, to holding her during the ceremony and having her right by their side at the reception too. There was so much love in the air.

Here's the story of their day as told in pictures.
